C.O.R.E.
Creativity•Outreach•Responsibility•Education
These are the qualities that make strong dancers and artists, and give them a sense of purpose and direction in their craft.
GDT is about creating a deeper appreciation for performance while developing a more professional dance experience in Southern Kentucky. C.O.R.E. is the next step in GDT’s pre-professional development program aimed at young, aspiring dancers.
C.O.R.E. members are held to a higher standard than regular company members and receive greater opportunities to advance their dance careers from an early age. Members will receive one-on-one mentorship with GDT faculty, be featured in special showcases, have the opportunity to feature their own choreography in student showcases, as well as develop a strong community partnership to take dance outside the theatre and into the lives of everyday people.
